Kevin Ashby - Managing Director / Registered Manager

A Registered Paramedic, passionate about providing care to the local community.  Kevin is highly-trained in all aspects of assessment and care with a vast experience, working within the NHS for over 20 years.

Kevin is kind, compassionate and eager to make a difference to our client's lives; promoting independence, positive stimulation and happiness amongst our clients.

Emma Ashby is both Director and Care Manager for Ashbee Home Care.


Having worked for the NHS for 20+ years in both administrative and clinical roles, Emma is experienced in all aspects of care and business organisation.

Emma is passionate about providing top-quality service to our users, showing compassion and reassurance to all clients and their family members, and ensuring that all needs are met to a high and caring standard, of which she would expect if it were her own family member.

About Us

Ashbee Home Care is a family run domiciliary care service, striving to provide care to our users who would like to live independently, but require a helping hand with their day to day personal care and tasks, as well as provdiding compassionate care to those who are unable to live independantly, ensuring they are safe, content and well-cared for.  We are regulated by CQC and have been rated as "Good" in our 2025 inspection.

Maria - Assistant Manager

Maria has over 25 years experience working in caring roles within local hospitals; Mental Health Unit and Community Rehabilitation Unit.  Maria also worked in residential care home setting,.  She has a wide range of knowledge around varying care needs of the older adult including, but not limited to dementia, frailty, mental health and challenging behaviours.  


Maria is kind, empathatic and thoughtful.  She takes pride in making a positive difference to others; ensuring clients feel happy and well cared for, while also supporting colleagues and contributing to promoting great team work.  


Maria is a valued member of the team, amongst clients and colleagues.  She is described by clients as kind and thoughtful, and they very much enjoy her visits, feeling safe and well looked after.

Lee Taylor 
Home Care Assistant

Lee - Home Care Supervisor

Lee has worked for Ashbee Home Care since June 2023.  He is a kind, caring and a cheerful member of the team, who is popular amongst clients and their relatives. 


Lee has experience with working around people in supportive roles and is a fantastic carer with his attention to detail and ability to make a difference to the quality of life of those he cares for.  Lee is extremely knowledgeable around all aspects of care for our older adults, including those suffering from dementia, stroke, parkinsons, disability, frailty and mental health needs.  He has made positive contributions, resulting in life-changing differences to those he looks after.


Lee is proactive, reliable and hard working, making him a valued member of the team and well thought of by our clients and their families.

Zoe - Home Care Assistant

Zoe joined Ashbee Home Care in September 2022.  She has vast experience of working within caring roles; both in residential care home settings and within the community.  Zoe's experience has benefited her with a wide range of knowledge around varying care needs of the older adult, including dementia, stroke, parkinsons, disability, mental health, and frailty.  Zoe is a great companion to our clients and goes above and beyond for those she looks after, as well as going above to support her colleagues.


Zoe is described by our clients as kind, charismatic and passionate.  This has helped those she looks after to feel safe and well cared for.  Zoe carries out her role as an excellent Carer effortlessly,  delivering a high standard of care with pure enjoyment.  Zoe is a valued member of the team, amongst clients and colleagues.  

Julie - Home Care Assistant

Julie joined Ashbee Home Care in April 2024.  She has many years experience working as a Carer, before taking on a management role within the care industry.   Later, Julie worked for the Home Office in a role that required excellent communication skills when managing challenging behaviours, before relocating to Dorset to be closer to family.  Julie wanted to return to her role as a carer, which she found more rewarding and fulfilling previously, and it is at this time, that she joined our team.  


Julie is a genuine and kind person, who has a good understanding of the needs for those she cares for.   Clients describe Julie as friendly, kind and very caring!  Julie is pragmatic and knowledgeable, allowing her to make a positive difference to those she looks after.  Julie is experienced in caring for the older adults of varying needs, including dementia, stroke, parkinsons, frailty, mental health and challenging behaviours.  Julie is reliable and hard working, and a great team player, making her a valued member of the team, amongst clients and colleagues.  

Alice - Home Care Assistant

Alice has worked for Ashbee Home Care since September 2024.  Alice has experience with caring for older adults with complex medical and mental health needs, including paranoia, stroke, parkinsons, dementia, epilepsy, diabetes, frailty, and reduced mobility.  


Alice is calm, kind and very caring.  She is cheerful and dedicated to making a difference to those she cares for.  She carries her work out to a high standard and is described by clients and their families as a friendly memeber of the team, who brightens their day and makes them feel safe.


Alice is a valued member of the team, supporting colleagues and clients with kindness and compassion.

Sophia - Home Care Assistant

Sophia joined Ashbee Home Care in February 2025.  Sophia has proven to be a fantastic, bubbly addition to the team and has built strong relationships with those she cares for.


Sophia has experience in caring for others, previously having worked with caring for children while completing her NVQ level 3.  Sophia has a keen interest in adult care and has taken to her role with ease, proving to be a natural when caring for the older adult.  Sophia has experience in supporting older adults whose needs include dementia, parkinsons, stroke, frailty, reduced mobility and alcoholism.  Sophia cares for clients compassionately, making a positive difference to their day.


Sophia is hard working, reliable, and a great team player, making her a valued member of the team.

Ann-Marie - Home Care Assistant

Ann-Marie joined Ashbee Home Care in August 2025.  


Ann-Marie is a cheerful, friendly member of the team.  She has worked in care for many years in carer, supervisory and management roles. Ann-Marie very much enjoys being a hands on Carer, allowing her to make a difference to the lives of those she looks after. 


Ann-Marie has a wealth of knowledge and experience in caring for older adults of varying needs, including dementia, disability, mental health, stroke, parkinsons, frailty and challenging behaviours, which is beneficial to our clients, who have expressed that they very much enjoy her visits, and feel lucky to have her.


Ann-Marie is hardworking and thorough, with a kind and friendly approach, making her a welcomed addition to the team.
